Frequently Asked Questions
Click the Tab Manager Pro icon in your Chrome toolbar, then click "Save Session". Give it a name and all your current tabs will be saved instantly. You can access saved sessions anytime from the extension popup.
All sessions are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API. Nothing is sent to any server. Your data stays on your device and is only accessible through the extension on your computer.
The RAM monitor displays your current tab count alongside your browser's memory usage. It updates in real time so you can identify which sessions or tabs are consuming the most memory and decide when to close them.
The free plan includes up to 5 saved sessions — enough for most users. Unlimited sessions will be available in the upcoming Pro plan. If you need more right now, you can delete old sessions to free up slots.
Yes. Sessions are stored persistently in Chrome's local storage. When you restart Chrome and open Tab Manager Pro, all your saved sessions will still be there and ready to restore.
Click "Auto-Group" in the extension popup and Tab Manager Pro will automatically group all your open tabs by their domain (e.g. all GitHub tabs in one group, all Google Docs in another). It uses Chrome's native tab groups feature so groups are fully integrated into your browser.
