Tab Manager Pro is a Chrome browser extension that helps you save, organize, and restore tab sessions. This policy explains clearly what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what we never do with it.

1. What Data We Access

To provide its core functionality, Tab Manager Pro accesses the following through standard Chrome browser APIs:

Tab information — URLs, titles and favicons of your open tabs, used to display and save sessions.
Window information — the layout of your browser windows, used to restore sessions accurately.
Tab groups — group names and colors, used to save and restore grouped tabs.
Local storage — your saved sessions and preferences are stored locally via chrome.storage.local.

2. How Data Is Used

All data is used exclusively to provide extension functionality:

Displaying your currently open tabs and groups in the extension popup.
Saving tab sessions to local storage so you can restore them later.
Searching, organizing and grouping tabs by domain.
Monitoring tab and window state to update the RAM and tab count display.

All data processing happens entirely on your device. No data is ever transmitted to any server, third party, or external service.

3. Data Storage

Saved sessions and preferences are stored using chrome.storage.local — a browser-provided storage API that keeps data on your local device only. This data is never synced to external servers and is only accessible by Tab Manager Pro on your own device.

You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the extension from Chrome.

4. What We Do NOT Collect

Tab Manager Pro does not:

Collect, transmit or store your browsing data on any external server.
Share any information with third parties, advertisers or analytics services.
Track your browsing history or behavior across sessions.
Use cookies or any cross-site tracking mechanisms.
Collect personal identification information of any kind.
Require account registration or login.

5. Permissions Explained

The extension requests only the minimum permissions necessary:

tabs — to read tab URLs and titles for session saving and display.
storage — to save your sessions locally using Chrome's storage API.
windows — to detect and restore multi-window session layouts.
tabGroups — to save and restore Chrome tab group information.

6. Children's Privacy

Tab Manager Pro does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The extension does not collect personal information from any users.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes in the future, the updated version will be published at this URL and the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised.
